If you work in Newquay, is there a more charming town to commute from? I have to say, having £150,000 to spend in "5 - 10 years" is pretty meaningless! I doubt you'd get a house in any decent part of Cornwall for £150,000. Any advise will be helpful. I get it; the Cornish lifestyle is so hyped up by everyone, you’ve gotta wonder if it’s all too good to be true!
