Waiting days in sms chat to get them to check, only to get an answer that the refund has been issued and closed at their end and now out of their hands. After I asked for a refund, Virgin said it would take four months, I received all my money back just over three and half months later. I managed to speak to someone regarding a refund only twice, all other contact has been automated and the refund goal posts have gone from 60 to 90 to 120 days. Zero customer service. Tried to contact them numerous times to change my holiday before balance due. We need to work through amend requests in departure date order so we can prioritise those with the most imminent travel plans, so you may have a longer wait than usual until we’re able to ring you back. It's been 5 months now and they've still not refunded me back my flight tickets. Lack of customer contact has been abysmal too, 120 days is too long to receive a refund. Have just had an 11 night holiday to Abu Dhabi cancelled and we have been chasing Virgin for weeks to ask them to confirm. Virgin take no responsibility for putting us in a hotel where you get robbed. Holiday cancelled in May, which is nobodies fault. VIRGIN and Love Holidays have been named as some of the worst travel companies for Brits, according to MoneySavingExpert. I would give them no stars if I could. Finally they cancelled my holiday to New York and initially said the holiday was non refundable which was rubbish as nothing in my paperwork. What a joke of a company!! Virgin confirmed the refund. I never imagined this company could be as truly awful as they have been that I may have to go through the courts to get my money refunded! Is my holiday still going ahead as planned? I have also used Virgin holidays for the last 20 years and certainly won't be rushing back. Having to wait 120 days for a refund is so stressful especially when other airlines have managed to deal with the same pandemic conditions so much better.
Hilarious! Our customers save an average of £400 by switching gas and electric. They’re on hand to inspire you and help you plan your dream holiday. Trying to contact them is laughable, they don't answer emails, WhatsApp and they've closed their customer service call centre but they've kept their new bookings line open..... that says it all really.
