Too funny. When Michael screamed about the turtles, I lost it! This episode was really great for me, mostly because Ryan came back and that caused a lot of tension in the office- and Ryan asking out Pam is hilarious, because he’s such a jerk most of the time. The scene about “cash baskets” was ‘hilar’. Ditto 166, that was my exact thought process, too.

The season will pick up pace.

Best moment of the show: Definitely Michael driving the car into the lake. Shakes head. I do love the chemistry between the two, but it has always been best when understated. Pam seems cooler than Jim now.

Where’s Oscar been? be I even liked the PB&J storyline. There’s a process to actual storytelling rather than just sitcom-like compilations of random unrelated situations.
But on the whole, I liked it. Michael: Those gift baskets never endangered anybody’s lives. It’s like watching a science experiment or something. Throw in a comfy blanket and some skewers and you have the perfect cozy basket. Michael: I think Ryan has a gay crush on me.

Stores, banks and educational institutions operate cash offices. Maybe next season…. I loved Garbage! Everyone starts looking for any signs of favoritism or signs that the romance will affect their position, especially in this situation where Pam is routing all of the sales calls. I have seen a lot more of the subtle humor come out. I did, however, HATE them going back to get the gift basket. Since when did Kevin and Andy become pals?

I loved Jim waving after Ryan tried to ask Pam out, and Jan being more normal and in control, and Kelly, and Garbage, and Creed’s hair-ink.

Voted 1. Ryan’s new character is even more perfect than I had imagined. So Thank You to Office Tally and other sites like this for creating an “open community.”. Driving into a lake? I hope Michael kicks Ryan’s ass! And Jim gloating about Ryan not being able to get every girl, fantastic. I’ve been a big fan of the idea of hour long Office episodes…now I’m not so sure. It’s the characters moving on. Angela is disgusted. The emotional state that both men were in after their hearts had been broken drove them to that insanity. Something about his reactions seem fake.

And the Phyllis comment about Pam transferring clients or whatever based on “who she’s sleeping with this week” was really kind of odd. What has happened is that the writers or producers or SOMEbody is making the HUGE mistake of making this a sitcom. For those who think Phyllis’s remark to Pam about assigning sales calls was out of character, my friends, that’s typical of what happens when an office romance is outed. Plus whether the opinions are good or bad, at least they are being heard by the writers and cast of the show. Yes, the storyline perhaps gets too crazy or dragged on at times, but this is our show! The ‘magic is gone’ conversation was just a joke between them. I do agree with many comments here: the first half was much funnier than the second half, and I feel the pacing of the show is suffering from the hour-long format.

This week I loved right away! Michael is moronic but he’s not that dumb. And I liked the premiere better too. the corporate job. Michael was just the right amount of over the top and Ryan was such a jerk. Keep it coming…. Way to bring the magic back guys! The whole scene driving into the lake and then going back for the basket were crazy and pathetic but not “out of character”.

Waiting to re-watch later – then I’ll have my full opinion. Did anyone get the feeling that there might be tension in the future if Pam finds a new role in the company? The car-in-the-lake thing was broad, but remember that commercial for car insurance, where the guy drives an SUV into a storefront because the GPS told him to? say what you will about the half-hour format, but this was the perfect first half-hour, followed by mediocre deleted scenes for the DVD. order with us. So, ergo de facto, Michael wasn’t driving into the lake simply because the GPS told him to, he was doing it because they needed to cross the lake and this magical piece of technology said this was the way to do it and, by God, that’s what Michael was going to do. I was trying not to laugh too loud b/c I didn’t want to wake up my kids. It brings me so much joy! :).

I really was scratching my head on that one. Other than that, another great episode.
I don’t know, it seems as if jim and pam were a lot funnier with the that tension there. The first half? I mean…wow.

Creed and Kelly? Like Andy punching a wall but amplified.
